Classification Of Trading Robots
There are two different types of classification .Firstly level of automation and then internal specification and features.
Automation level Classification
There are two types of automated trading systems available: Fully automated and Semi-automated
Fully Automated
A fully automated system does all trading activities from analysis to profit taking alone. It scans the market for setups, executes trades, exit automatically. Stop-loss orders, profit targets and trail stops are generated automatically and entered.
Semi-Automated
Semi-automated system uses does all the analysis in the markets based on the predetermined variables and notifies the user if there is any trading opportunity. The robots values for stop-loss orders and profit targets. However the major difference with fully automated types is that the trader on the semiautomated makes the final decisions on the execution part of all the values generated by the semi automated robot.
