Metamask Review
Background Information
Metamask is a great cryptocurrency wallet that has many functionalities and extensions. It can easily be installed on any browser as an extension or downloaded from Playstore or AppStore on phones. Its functionality on both PC and phones is commendable and I give them props for that. On PC it is installed mainly as a browser extension.
KYC
Metamask does not really care about KYC protocol, but it really is a secure application, and you will know that your funds are in a safe place.
Smart contracts
Metamask is frequently used for network marketing through the use of smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. Whether there are pyramid schemes or not I will let you decide but as for me any program where money is only earned through referrals, and you also have to pay a fee to enter the program is a pyramid scheme. This should not make you suspicious though as these are just extensions of the platform not the platform itself.
Network Exclusion
Metamask seems to be a platform that mainly focuses on only a number of networks and is not keen on supporting others. This may be an inconvenience to most investors since they want sovereignty over the projects that they invest in. This makes Metamask more of an assistant crypto app rather than an application you would have as the sole app for investing. But for those who just want to invest in Ethereum only for example can consider it as an option.
Conclusion
Metamask is a good secure wallet but there isn’t anything really special about it except maybe for those who want to enter the smart contracts on Ethereum. It is also compatible with phones as well as personal computers in a way that most applications are not. Besides that, there isn’t any other reason why one would vouch for Metamask,
